Welcome to UIC Law School’s Writing Resource Center Scheduling Portal

WRC will open for the Spring 2024 semester starting on January 8 through April 15.

You can book sessions up to 45 days in advance and meet with a writing advisor once a week.

January 8- April 15
Closed on January 15 (MLK Day) and February 17

Virtual(E-tutoring) Sessions Only

Monday and Friday
9:30 am to 3:30 pm

Saturday (1st and 3rd Saturday of the month)
9:00 am to 11:00 am

NOTE: 1st Saturdays are designated for part-time and evening students only.

In-person and Virtual(E-tutoring) Sessions

Tuesday and Thursday
9:30 am to 3:30 pm, 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Wednesday
9:30 am to 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm (alternating)

*Hours are subject to change based on student needs and the WRC's staff availability.

Instructions

UIC Net ID Required: To access the Writing Resource Center Scheduling Portal, students will need to log in using their UIC Net ID. If you do not know your UIC credentials or have not set up your credentials, you can visit https://password.uic.edu/ to activate your UIC NetID or change your password.

First-time users: You must complete a profile before scheduling an appointment. Use your UIC credentials to log in, then review our registration guide if you have difficulty accessing the portal.

Log In: Enter your UIC Net ID and password in the designated “Username” and “Password” text boxes. You will not include "@uic.edu" as part of your Username.

Alumni without a “uic.edu” email address are required to email law-wrc@uic.edu for scheduling details.
